Stage >> to >> Discharge Ratings - a Qualification
The rating tables listed on the WEB are for most of the active continuous-recording
stations operated by the U.S.G.S. in Minnesota. Any revisions to, or
replacements of tables are done on an off-WEB database system and may or may
not be updated on the WEB at the same time. The user is responsible for
determining whether these ratings are the most recent available.
The user is further responsible for any interpretations made from these ratings.
Any shifts in the stage-discharge relation away from the stage-dischare
ratings, as a result of backwater conditions, shifting control, etc., are the
responsibility of the user to interpret.
